Ruinart Rosé is an extremely convivial champagne that is a pleasure to drink throughout a meal, from aperitif to dessert.

Pairings : from Andalusian gazpacho to beef tataki, Ruinart Rosé enhances the simplicity of raw ingredients and simple compositions. Unless it's time for a more sophisticated meal, where Ruinart Rosé will reveal its aromas with prawns sautéed with Thai basil, or a rack of lamb flavoured with thyme flower and ras elhanout.

Tasting notes : Ruinart Rosé first presents itself to the eye, revealing a pomegranate colour with orange highlights. The nose is subtle and fresh, offering an original palette of exotic fruits and small red berries. Hints of rose and pomegranate round off this complex, intense aromatic profile, dominated by primary aromas that have evolved little. On the palate, the attack is straightforward, the mouth silky and fleshy, carried by aromas of pomegranate, guava and lychee, pink grapefruit and peppermint. Ruinart Rosé has a complex aromatic bouquet, woven from echoes and correspondences - so many notes ready to reveal their singularity during exotic meals.

Winemaking and vineyards : Ruinart was founded on 1 September 1729 by Nicolas Ruinart. His uncle, Dom Thierry Ruinart, a learned Benedictine monk, had an intuition of genius. He sensed that this new "sparkling wine", developed in his native Champagne region and much loved by the royal courts of Europe, had a bright future ahead of it. The creation of Ruinart coincided with the birth in France of the "Age of Enlightenment" and the French art of living. A genuine culture of goodness and beauty was born in France, favouring a taste that was fine and elegant, light and sophisticated, delicate and rare. Ruinart cuvées naturally found their place in this culture. Driven by a constant quest for excellence and the absolute, Ruinart has chosen Chardonnay, a rare and fragile grape variety, as the common thread running through all its cuvées.
